Wright County Clerk, Tony Dugger announces that the Clerk's office will be open on Saturday August 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for anyone wishing to vote by absentee ballot for the upcoming August 5th Primary election. Dugger states anyone wishing to conduct other matters of business with the Clerk's office may do so at this time.
July 9th the Last Day to Register to Vote
Wright County Clerk, Tony Dugger states the last day to register to vote for the August 5th, 2008 Primary election is July 9th, 2008. If you have moved and not notified his office, please fill out the information on the back of your voter card and mail it back to the clerk's office. If you have had a name change it will be necessary for you to re-register to vote. There are several locations where you can register to vote:
Division of Family Services, City Hall and the License Bureau if you are renewing your license. You may also come into the Clerk's office to register or to make any necessary changes to your registration. Correct voter registration will make your voting process on election day much easier.
