Wright County Clerk, Nelda Masner announces that the Clerk's office will be open on Saturday, April 3rd from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for anyone wishing to vote by absentee ballot for the upcoming April 6th, 2010 General Municipal election. Masner states anyone wishing to conduct other matters of business with the Clerk's office may do so at this time.
Filing opens for Countywide Offices
Wright County Clerk, Nelda Masner, announces filing opens for county and state wide offices at 8:00 a.m. February 23rd, 2010 and will continue thru March 30th, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. for the August 3rd Primary Election.
Filing for the following offices will take place in the office of the Honorable Robin Carnahan, Missouri Secretary of State, in the Missouri State Information Center at 600 W Main Street, in Jefferson City, Missouri.

State Auditor
U.S. Representive 8th District
State Representive 144th District
Filing for the following offices will take place in the County Clerk's office in Hartville, Missouri. Listed below are the county offices that will be open for filing.

Prosecuting Attorney
Collector of Revenue
Declarations of candidacy may be filed for the following
political officers who are to be elected at the Primary Election: Township Committeeman, Township Committeewomen
Masner states she will be using the lottery stystem again this year for ballot placement of names for those
candidates who file on the first day.
