QUESTION
Shall the City of Norwood impose a city sales tax of one half cent (.5) for the purpose
of street revenue for the City of Norwood, Missouri? Ordinance No. 35.202 of Norwood ,
Missouri passed on January 13, 2009, imposing a city sales tax at the rate of one half
cent (.5) on the receipts from the sale at retail of all tangible personal property or
taxable services at retail, subject to the sales tax imposed by the State of Missouri. All
sales tax monies collected will be used only to fix and maintain City streets.

PROPOSITION 2
Shall the Board of Education of the Hartville R-11 School Disrict of Wright County,
Missouri, without an estimated increase in the current total tax levy, be authorized to
increase the operating tax levy ceiling by five cents ($0.05) to $2.80 per one hundred
dollars of assessed valuation in order to provide additional funds to meet operating
need of the District? Dereasing the debt service levy by five cents ($0.05) will result in
no increase to the total tax levy and will offset the estimated five cents ($0.05) increase
to the operation levy with approval of this Proposition by the voters.
